The resort of Zlatni Pyasatsi (Golden Sands) is the largest one on the northern Black Sea coast as it is built on more than 1,800 hectares of land. It is situated 18km north of Varna and is bordered on the north by Kranevo and on the south by the St. St. Konstantin and Elena Resort. The beech of the resort stretches over some 4km with width of up to 100 metres .
Golden Sands Climate
The Maritime climate along the coast is characterised by warm, sunny days from May to October with mid-summer air temperatures averaging 83°F (28°C) and sea temperatures ranging from 73-77°F (23-25°C). The wettest months are June, October and December.

Golf - Three world-class golf courses are within a 10-minute drive of Golden Sands Black Sea Rama, a championship course, that has been designed by Gary Player (expected to open May 07) and The Lighthouse Resort (opening December 07) and the Thracian Cliffs at Kavarna, with 5 star facilities (planned to open in 2007-8) again designed by Gary Player.
