Ruse
The town of Ruse is located on the high right bank of the Danube River, 496 m from the outflow of the big river. The greatest and the most important Bulgarian town on the Danube River, known also as “Little Vienna” because of its ancient architecture. It is a regional administrative centre. People settled here in ancient times since the river provided a living. Its geographical situation characterizes it as an important European and republican transport crossroad. Dobrich
The town of Dobrich is situated in Northeast Bulgaria in the Dobrudzha Plateau. The town, which lies 37 km away from the border with Romania, is known as the ‘capital' of the fertile land of Dobrudzha, the biggest grain-growing region of the country. Its population numbers slightly above 100 thousand people

Silistra
The town of Silistra (population: 42 153; 20 m above sea-level) is situated on the right (Bulgarian) bank of the river Danube, on 375th kilometres away from the river mouth, at the point where the river enters the territory of Romania and the terrestrial boundary between Bulgaria and Romania begins.

Varna
The city of Varna is the third largest city in Bulgaria with its population of 314,539 people. It is widely called the seaside capital of Bulgaria as it is the biggest city at the Bulgarian coast. The city lies in the Bay of Varna, nestled in a deep valley between the Frengen Plareau and the Avren Plateau. Varna is over 110 km long, while its width, including newly erected residential quarters, is nearly 9km. The city's structure resembles an amphitheatre as it follows the curves of the Bay of Varna. The town is surrounded by gardens, vineyards and groves.

Razgrad
The town of Razgrad (population: 39 036 habitants, about 200 m above sea-level) is situated on the Loudogorie plateau (and is considered the capital of the Loudogorie), on either bank of the Beli Lom River. Razgrad is the successor of the Roman settlement called Abritus (its ruins are situated near the town), the latter being established at the place of a Thracian settlement with an
unknown name.

Tervel
The Municipality of Tervel is occupied by 127,520,000 sqm of forest which is completely state-owned. The forest areas attract visitors for a diverse range of activities including hunting, fishing, hiking, horse riding, safari, cycling and nature trails. 72.2 per cent of the Municipality of Tervel is agricultural land with the agricultural land representing an astonishing 833,600 sqm per capita.
In addition, Tervel is part of the “Golden Land” area of Bulgaria which boasts some of the most fertile land in Europe and some of the cleanest air in the world. In fact, many asthma sufferers as well as eco-tourists visit the area to sample its plentiful and unspoilt
natural beauty.
Albena
The resort of Albena is situated 32 km north of Varna and just 12km south-west of Balchik on a long sandy stretch in the open northern part of Varna Bay. The complex lies beneath a relatively high hill and is given particular charm by the near-by forest of Baltata, a part of which is declared a protected area.
Balchik
Similarly to Kavarna, the town of Balchik is also a relatively large settlement along the Northern seaside with its population numbering 13,766, and a harbour used for medium-sized passenger and commercial vessels. It is situated 31km north of Varna in a beautiful inlet.
Golden Sands
The resort of Zlatni Pyasatsi (Golden Sands) is the largest one on the northern Black Sea coast as it is built on more than 1,800 hectares of land. It is situated 18km north of Varna and is bordered on the north by Kranevo and on the south by the St. St. Konstantin and Elena Resort. The beech of the resort stretches over some 4km with width of up to 100 metres.
Kavarna
Kavarna is one of the relatively bigger towns along the Black Sea coast: its population is 12,225, while the town's port handles passenger and cargo vessels of medium size. The town is situated 48km north of Varna and just 12km away from the picturesque Kaliakra cape. The coast to the north of the town is high and steep, shining with its limestone rocks against the sea while the south of the town boasts with an excellent beach.
